We are Trevor and Megs Norton. We own and operate West Coast Yacht Charters since 1990, ("Stormbreaker"), and also The Crays Accommodation.

Stormbreaker - Sail in comfort from the historic fishing village of Strahan on the west coast of Tasmania, across the picturesque waters of Macquarie Harbour, the 2nd largest harbour in the Southern Hemisphere which is flanked by the rainforest and World Heritage Wilderness areas.

We can sail you into this unique world aboard our 65ft (20m) steel ketch "Stormbreaker". Her spacious comfort below decks allows all weather cruising. Accommodating 10 overnight and 40 day passengers, she has showers, toilets and a large dining area. There is a fully-equipped galley and large saloon with windows for enjoying the scenery. The covered deck is very spacious and perfect for dining.

"Stormbreaker" is the only commercial yacht licensed to complete the 35km journey to Sir John Falls. She is also the only commercial yacht licensed to offer overnight accommodation while on the still waters of the Gordon River.

We look forward to welcoming you aboard. We have developed numerous products to suit client requirements. All of the cruises are safe with an element of adventure and education. Small groups, receiving personalised service, is one of our strengths.

At The Crays Accommodation, we now have eight fully self contained units in two convenient locations, 5 minutes walk from Strahan's main street, major attractions , supermarket and Yacht Stormbreaker. 

Each unit is more like a house than a motel unit. Fully equipped with all the comforts and facilities to make your stay memorable.

Our three newest units include a 3 bedroom house, another two bedroom apartment and studio.
